IRB New Member Orientation
Each new members is asked to attend an in-person orientation with an Office of Research Compliance staff member. This two-hour orientation covers the history, regulations, policies and laws regarding human-subject research, as well as the IRB basics.
Online Training
To get started with online human-subject research training modules, hosted by Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI), please complete the registration process at CITI Online Course. Please be sure to choose UC Merced as your institution. Members are asked to take the IRB Member course and any required refresher courses as they are requested.
