IACUC Protocol Submission
The IACUC office will be closed Tuesday, December 24, 2019 through Wednesday, January 1, 2020.
Please note that there is no IACUC meeting scheduled for December 2019. All review items must be submitted for either the November 25, 2019 meeting or the January 27, 2020 meeting.
- The deadline for committee review of protocol submissions for the November 25, 2019 meeting is November 11, 2019.
- The deadline for protocol submission for the January 27, 2020 meeting is January 13, 2020.
IRB Protocol Submission
The IRB office will be closed Tuesday, December 24, 2019 through Wednesday, January 1, 2020.
Please note Cayuse IRB will remain live during the campus closure, however, submissions submitted during campus closure will not be processed until staff return to the office on January 2, 2019.
Important: if your study is “greater than minimal risk” needing full board review you must submit your protocol application in time for review at the February 13, 2020 IRB meeting.
- The deadline for protocol submission for the February 13, 2020 meeting is January 12, 2020.
SPO Proposal Submission
The Sponsored Projects Office will be closed Tuesday, December 24, 2019 through Wednesday, January 1, 2020. SPO will process proposals due in December 2019 and January 2020 according to the proposal submission guidelines with exception of the following:

PIs and DRAs are encouraged to inform SPO CGOs if they will be submitting a proposal with a due date prior to, during, or just after the curtailment period. This will give SPO and the PI/DRA an opportunity to discuss the best way to handle the proposal and submit the proposal to meet the sponsor’s due date.
