IACUC Protocol Submission
The IACUC office will be closed Wednesday, December 24, 2025, through Thursday, January 1, 2026, for the campus winter curtailment period. The office will reopen for business on Friday, January 2, 2026.
Please note: Cayuse IACUC will remain live during the campus closure; however, all review items (new studies, modifications, renewals) must be submitted by Friday, December 26, 2025, to be considered for review at the January 2026 meeting.

IRB Protocol Submission
The IRB office will also be closed Wednesday, December 24, 2025, through Thursday, January 1, 2026, and will reopen for business on Friday, January 2, 2026.
Please note: Cayuse IRB will remain live during the campus closure; however, submissions made during the closure will not be processed until staff return on January 2, 2026.
Important: If your study is greater than minimal risk and requires full board review, please contact the IRB Office at irboffice@ucmerced.edu as soon as possible.
